Chopinvoice, a proximity-based voice chat system for Metin2

Chopinvoice makes it possible for players to communicate with each other by voice. Gives them a sense of how close the other player is and in which direction might be. The closer you are to another player, the louder their voice is and conversely, the farther away you are from another player, the quiter their voice is. You can talk to anyone and anyone can talk to you, unless one of you blocks the other.

Voice chat is available as a slot-based service. One slot equals one online player. You can reserve a certain number of slots. Optimally, a number that is at least the expected maximum number of online players at any given time. The system consists of two components: Chopinaudio (3D audio library) and Chopinvoice (client-side connector) require Windows 7 or later to work. You should assume that all these libraries are not yet production ready. However, the voice chat was already in production with about 2,000 players online and it worked great. All known defects were eliminated at that time.
